Hollywood stars became disturbingly “woke” during Donald Trump’s presidency.
And many cowardly companies are following suit.
But now companies are running away from one Trump-hating celebrity.
Musician John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen are two of the most obnoxiously “woke” celebrities in entertainment.
Legend once defended the violent street gang MS-13 in order to rip Donald Trump’s immigration policy, and Teigen virtue-signaled by calling for an end to violence against Asians.
But Teigen and other leftists conveniently ignored the fact that mainly left-wing radicals and opportunistic street criminals are the near-exclusive perpetrators of Asian attacks.
However, Teigen is now experiencing some of the cancel culture she has dished out over the years.
Teigen recently came under fire for cyberbullying model and influencer Courtney Stodden when she was 16 years old.
Teigen issued a mealy-mouthed apology that Stodden did not accept.
is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel. I have worked so hard to give you guys joy and be beloved and the feeling of letting you down is nearly unbearable, truly. These were not my only mistakes and surely won’t be my last as hard as I try but god I will try!!

Then Teigen faced more backlash as other cyberbullying tweets surfaced.
In light of the scandal, the department store Bloomingdale’s joins a group of retailers that have walked away from Teigen.
From The New York Post:
“Page Six has learned that Bloomingdale’s walked away from a deal with Chrissy Teigen at the 11th hour because of her explosive cyberbullying scandal…Bloomingdale’s was hours away from signing a contract with the Twitter personality and cookbook author, which would see her host a promotional event for the store, but pulled the plug on Monday because of the toxic press swirling around Teigen.”
Teigen probably feels differently about cancel culture and wokeness now that she’s on the losing end.
A department store insider told The Post, “They pretty much had it together…but had to cancel it” as a result of Teigen’s vile tweets.
The bullying of Stodden was particularly cruel because she was a 16-year-old girl who had recently married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison in a scandalous affair.
Stodden seems like an odd target of such bizarre vitriol, but Teigen truly is bizarre.
She deleted thousands and thousands of tweets after facing criticism for pedophilic “jokes.”
Teigen has friends in high places so she might be able to weather the storm, but her reputation as the affable girl next door has been shattered forever.
In addition to Bloomingdale’s, Teigen no longer has partnerships with Target and Macy’s.
Nobody seems too enthused about buying overpriced cookware from a nasty woman who bullies teens and adolescents online.
