Colin Kaepernick opened Pandora’s box with his anti-American anthem protests.
Since then, the NFL and other sports leagues have been infected with far-left nonsense.
Now Kaepernick is back in the NFL in a way that’ll make you roll your eyes.
Colin Kaepernick has been turned into a folk hero by “woke” left sports writers who tend to be even further left than political writers.
He’s been given humanitarian awards for kneeling for the national anthem, and despite not taking a snap since 2016, Kaepernick is now back in the video game Madden 21, the latest installment of the wildly popular EA Sports franchise.
EA Sports issued the following press release:
“Colin Kaepernick is one of the top free agents in football and a starting-caliber quarterback. The team at EA SPORTS, along with millions of Madden NFL fans, want to see him back in our game.”
But he’s not in the game; Kaepernick hasn’t played in three full seasons.
This is absurd pandering to the “woke” crowd.
The press release continued:
“Knowing that our EA SPORTS experiences are platforms for players to create, we want to make Madden NFL a place that reflects Colin’s position and talent, rates him as a starting QB, and empowers our fans to express their hopes for the future of football.”
Kaepernick is rated higher on the game than former MVP Cam Newton, reigning Rookie of the Year Kyler Murray, and several other starting quarterbacks.
Kaepernick has an overall rating of 81 in the game but had a rating of 74 the last time he actually played in 2016.
Apparently, Kaepernick has gotten 10% better while sitting on the couch.
The EA Sports press release concluded:
“Starting today in Madden NFL 21, fans can put Colin Kaepernick at the helm of any NFL team in franchise mode, as well as play with him in PLAY NOW. We look forward to seeing Colin on Madden NFL teams everywhere.”
Kaepernick even got a special introduction in the game, and has his own touchdown celebration:

Kaepernick has now signed deals with the top book publisher (Random House), the top sports apparel company (Nike), the top streaming service (Netflix), and the top football video game franchise.
People act as if Kaepernick made a great sacrifice for his cause, but he’s enriched himself, and his career was already on the skids before he took a knee.
Kaepernick was 1-10 in his last 11 starts as a professional.
When the NFL tried to organize a tryout for him, he changed the location at the last minute so he could do a photo op for the press.
Kaepernick has made so many moves that expose him as a fraud, but the same far-left nonsense that infect his brain is being pumped into the minds of K-12 students.
The left has rotted so many American institutions, and it’s well past the time to start pushing back.
