The hyper-politicization of sports ramped up with Colin Kaepernick.
His anti-American anthem protest disrupted the NFL for several years.
Now Kaepernick is making one desperate play to get back into the NFL.
Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick claims that he wants to get back in the NFL, even though he hasn’t played football in six years.
In his final year in the league, Kaepernick went 1-10 as a starter and the 49ers finished 2-14.
In addition to his poor play, he turned himself into the ultimate distraction with his anti-American protests.
And Kaepernick recently threw in front of NFL scouts at the University of Michigan, where Jim Harbaugh, who drafted him to the 49ers, serves as the head coach.

Kaepernick is even deluded enough to believe he can still help an NFL team as a starter.
Reporters asked Kaepernick what he intended to prove in his workout and he said, “That I can help make you a better team…I can help you win games. I know right now the situation likely won’t allow me to come in and step into a starting role. I know I’ll be able to work my way to that though and show that very quickly…To the teams that have questions, more than anything I’d say I’d love to come in for a workout, I’d love to sit down with you and have that conversation about how I can help you be a better team.”
So he hasn’t played in six years, but he thinks he can become a starter “very quickly.”
He wasn’t even good the last time he played, so the idea he should start is absurd.
It’s also ridiculous that he’s eager to get back into a league that he compared to slavery.
Colin Kaepernick compares the NFL combine, which allows all players of all races a voluntary chance to become multi-millionaires, to slavery. Anyone still defending this imbecile lacks a functional brain. pic.twitter.com/rMaKi7c6xh

Kaepernick is too busy making movies and television shows and documentaries to play in the league.
He just needs to pretend to try to keep his “martyr” status going.
