CNN is so desperate for relevance that it’s simply incredible the depths they’ll stoop to.
The 24-hour liberal propaganda cesspool uses its employees to peddle their dangerous agendas. That’s why millions have changed the channel on CNN because they’ve identified how unnecessary this fake news network actually is.
And CNN just proved its irrelevance once again by hiring this President Trump-hating NFL athlete to comment on racial issues.
If you thought the ongoing Colin Kaepernick anthem-kneeling fiasco was finally over, you better guess again because it will get exponentially worse before it gets better.
When the NFL returns for the upcoming season there will be rampant kneeling during the national anthem—and disrespect America in the process.
Following Drew Brees’ public meltdown when he was criticized by the liberal pitchfork mob for saying he would never agree with anybody who kneeled during the national anthem, his comments had an adverse effect on the future of NFL.
Brees’ inadvertent comments will undoubtedly lead to even more kneeling, which could potentially kill the NFL.
Enter opportunists like Brees’ teammate and New Orleans Saints safety, Malcolm Jenkins, who picked up the torch and carried it once Kaepernick was so-called “blackballed” from the league.
Jenkins became Kaepernick 2.0 and now he’s taking his “talents” to CNN where he’ll be a regular fixture in discussing race relations and social justice issues.
The Super Bowl Champion said in a statement to Pro Football Talk, “Having spent years running non-profits and supporting grassroots organizations to address the inequalities of our criminal justice system, educational system and disparate wealth in our marginalized communities, I believe I can be a voice for other athlete activists and those who have dedicated their lives to changing legislation, policies and reforms for human equality. Now more than ever, the public needs to be educated on the roles of elected positions of power, such as the District Attorney, Police Chief or City Council and how to hold those individuals accountable, especially through their voice and their vote. In an important election year, I’m eager to join the CNN family and share my perspective as a regular contributor.”
How condescending is “the public needs to be educated.” Is Jenkins really saying he’s the only man for the job? Doesn’t this seem like a pandering move by CNN?
Who’s next? Is CNN going to hire O.J. Simpson to give marital advice?
In what world is Jenkins an expert on these issues? Or is it just because he’s a famous athlete? Jenkins piggybacked off of Kaepernick’s kneeling and somehow made it all about him. That’s a level of narcissism that can’t be ignored.
Jenkins is the most divisive player in the league right now and CNN just gave him the keys to the company car. Is CNN that desperate? It seems so.
Recently, Jenkins revealed in an interview on CBS “This Morning” that the NFL hasn’t “gotten it right” on the Kaepernick issue.
He insisted, “Until they apologize specifically to Colin Kaepernick or assign him to a team, I don’t think that they will end up on the right side of history. We, the National Football League, admit we were wrong for not listening to NFL players earlier and encourage all to speak out and peacefully protest.”
Is that not an apology? That’s willful ignorance if Jenkins believes that.
That could be a good reason why CNN hired him because they already have a whole army of “analysts” who are gleefully ignorant and completely unaware of their cognitive dissonance.
And the NFL is in bigger trouble. Get ready for empty stadiums coming to a town near you.
