“Wokeness” has been festering in American culture for several years.
But the tide might slowly be turning.
Now a “canceled” TV host demanded a refund from one far-left scam.
The mask has slipped on the Black Lives Matter organization.
The co-founders, who described themselves as “trained Marxists,” have been blasted by critics on both the left and the right for financial malfeasance.
BLM, Inc. raked in billions of dollars, and nobody knows where all of the money went.
Local chapters and family members of people killed have not received a dime.
Some states, including far-left California, have even barred BLM from operating until their books are in order.
That prompted former co-host of The Talk Sharon Osbourne to demand her money back from the organization.
Osbourne told a TMZ reporter, “We gave $900,000 to that, and I’d like my money back.”
Osbourne’s comments were in response to a question about hip-hop mogul Kanye West, who recently wrote on social media,
West sparked a conversation about BLM when he wore a shirt that said “White Lives Matter” at a fashion show in Paris.
West added, “Here’s my latest response when people ask me why I made a tee that says white lives matter…THEY DO.”
Leftists have considered the statement “all lives matter” a form of “racism,” so West really triggered them with his White Lives Matter shirt.
BLM is melting under the spotlight now that people are paying attention and not giving the organization the benefit of the doubt.
Osbourne added, “I don’t understand why white lives don’t matter. I don’t understand it. It’s not my culture,” she said. “Everybody matters, don’t they? … Don’t go to [Kanye’s] social media. Don’t listen to his music…Leave the guy alone. Let him do what he does, and if you don’t like him, do that. Leave him alone.”
Of course, the left won’t leave West alone, just as they didn’t leave Osbourne alone when she defended her friend Piers Morgan.
Morgan was forced to leave the show Good Morning Britain after he said that he didn’t believe Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s claims during an Oprah Winfrey interview that the Royal Family was racist.
Osbourne agreed with Morgan, and she was booted from The Talk as a result.
Osbourne’s co-hosts defended her behind the scenes, but went along with the smear campaign and labeled her a racist.
Black co-hosts Sheryl Underwood and Elaine Welteroth did not vouch for Osbourne, but leaked audio proved they knew the slander was bogus.
Welteroth said:
“I just want you to know, Sharon. Sheryl loves you and respects you so much and had your back behind the scenes. She was not trying to attack you. But I also understand when you had night long of trolls f*cking attacking you online, that puts you in a position where you have to defend yourself. You feel like you have to defend yourself. And I know you’re upset. I know it was terrible, but I just hope that once this blows over, that you know Sheryl is your friend. She really is your friend. She doesn’t think you’re racist. I don’t think you’re racist. No one who knows you would ever say that or think that.”
Leftists have gone way too far with racial politics, and people are beginning to see the scam for what it is.
