Progressive politics are destroying sports.
Fans looking for escapism have now been subjected to an endless assault of political preaching.
Now Barack Obama praised the MLB after the disastrous political move they made.
The 2020 election was an absolute mess, rife with voter irregularities.
Georgia was one of the swing states that became a flashpoint of controversy due to questions about integrity.
That’s why Georgia governor Brian Kemp and the Republican legislature attempted to shore up a lot of the voting issues with a new voting law that requires ID and improved ballot verification.
Needless to say, Democrats did not like the law that made election fraud more difficult.
They went over-the-top in their opposition to the bill and irresponsibly called it “Jim Crow 2.0.”
Joe Biden even went on ESPN’s SportsCenter and called it “Jim Crow on steroids.”
Biden and other top Democrats called for Major League Baseball to move its all-star game out of Georgia to strongarm the Republicans.
The MLB predictably caved, and Biden’s former boss weighed in to congratulate the cowardly organization:
Congratulations to @MLB for taking a stand on behalf of voting rights for all citizens. There’s no better way for America’s pastime to honor the great Hank Aaron, who always led by example.

It’s laughable that Barack Obama was ever considered a moderate Democrat.
He appointed activist judges, filled the executive branch with hard leftists, doubled the national debt with profligate spending, turned the military into a social experiment, stoked racial tensions to get re-elected in 2012, and so much more.
Now that Obama is out of office, he’s fully embraced his radical roots.
His only lament was that he took an incremental approach to moving the country left instead of putting the pedal to the metal like the Democrats are doing now.
Celebrating a fascistic pressure campaign against the MLB is exactly what’s wrong with the Democrats today.
They aren’t even attempting to be reasonable or principled.
The Democrats will do and say anything in order to get more power.
During the 2012 campaign, Biden told black constituents that Republicans wanted to “put y’all back in chains.”
Biden has at least moved from despicable slavery rhetoric to Jim Crow rhetoric.
The reality is the Georgia bill actually expands voter access; it simply requires ID.
One would think that mitigating the possibility of voter fraud would be a good thing, but curiously that is not a priority for Democrats.
What also isn’t a priority for Democrats is keeping enterprise inside Georgia.
The all-star game relocation will reportedly cost local businesses $100 million in lost revenue.
If Republicans play their cards right, they can soon reclaim the Senate seats they lost.
