Sometimes people are so tone-deaf it makes you question how they’ve had any semblance of success in their life. Former wide receiver Antonio Brown completely self-destructed over the last several months.
At first it was a helmet grievance, then he forced his way out of his contract with the Oakland Raiders – after signing with the New England Patriots it was revealed he allegedly raped his former trainer and was accused of sexually assaulting a painter he commissioned, which ultimately led to the team releasing him. Now Brown is jobless and really has nobody to blame but himself.
But Antonio Brown’s delusion just hit all new highs after claiming this person “ruined” his career.
If you’ve followed the two allegations against all-pro wide receiver Antonio Brown then you probably came to the conclusion that he’s not a very nice guy.
It’s not the allegations per se – innocent until proven guilty – but the text messages that came from both accusations that really showed what kind of person he really is. Brown has a demonstrative aggressive personality who antagonizes through ridicule.
The civil suit against Britney Taylor revealed some not-so-flattering text messages that made Brown seem borderline illiterate. And then Brown texted “intimidating” messages on a group thread towards the painter who alleged he sexually harassed her.
All of this happened within days of each other and on that 9th day, the Patriots released Brown.
Commissioner Roger Goodell put Brown on the NFL’s Exempt List following the accusations until they completed a full investigation. But Brown couldn’t help himself prior to meeting with the NFL and defending his case.
Instead he tweeted, “Imagine conforming to a system giving it a 100 percent to see them treat me like this is unfairly ! Making money off my sweat and blood F—k the @nfl I’ll never play in that sh-t treat black people the worse! Clear my name and go f—k your self”
It’s been deleted since. Clearly his agent Drew Rosenhaus got to him and suddenly he apologized.
I’m just very frustrated right now with the false allegations and slander to my name. I love football and I miss it. I just want to play and I’m very emotional about that. I’m determined to make my way back to the NFL asap

You could tell he didn’t write that because of the proper grammar and punctuation.
And if you thought he couldn’t make matters any worse, Brown finds a way.
Brown is now countersuing Britney Taylor because his team of attorneys claim she is “LYING” and has “all but ruined Brown’s career.”
The countersuit says, “In summary, after enduring a failed business endeavor and also failing to gain the relationship status she desired with Brown, Taylor began a vicious campaign of lies and deceit targeting Brown both personally and professionally. Taylor’s acts have all but ruined Brown’s career, causing him to lose a number of substantial and lucrative business contracts, and impacting the public persona in such a manner as to cause Brown and his family significant personal and financial harm.”
It’s absurd to think Brown is so delusional that he doesn’t put any blame on himself. His childish antics got him released by the Raiders and the Patriots executives were willing to let the investigation and civil suit play out until they found out about the text “intimidating” the painter. That was the last straw.
Brown has nobody to blame but himself for why he’s not playing in the league.
