The entertainment industry spent the last five years screeching about how terrible Donald Trump was.
But Democrats and celebrities protected by the establishment got a free pass.
Now one anti-Trump rock star got a slap on the wrist for one horrible act.
Bruce Springsteen has been a mouthpiece for the Democrat Party for a long time.
He considered leaving the country if Donald Trump won re-election in 2020, then filmed a Super Bowl commercial where he called for unity only after Joe Biden won.
But Springsteen got slammed by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) when it came to light he was arrested for DWI prior to filming the commercial.
Springsteen allegedly got caught drinking tequila by a park ranger in a restricted part of the Gateway National Recreation Area.
The ranger supposedly observed Springteen consume the alcohol, then climb on his motorcycle.
Springsteen refused to take a breathalyzer (though he later blew a .02 at the station), then failed a field sobriety test.
But Springsteen just pleaded to a lesser charge and paid a $500 fine in order to walk.

“Springsteen pleaded guilty to consuming alcohol in a closed area. The government then proposed the dismissal of the additional two charges of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving which the judge approved.”
It’s unclear how much time passed between the moment Springsteen was arrested and when he eventually took the breath test, so the judge determined the prosecution did not have enough evidence for DWI.

When Springsteen was told by the judge he had to pay $500 plus a $40 charge, he cheekily responded, “I think I can pay that immediately, your Honor”; Springsteen is worth over $500 million.
It’s telling that Springsteen’s call for unity only came after Biden’s victory.
When the Democrats are out of power, they tell people it’s time to take to the streets and get up in people’s faces and riot if necessary.
As soon as the Democrats take office, it’s time to “heal.”
Meanwhile, the corporate press is still waging war against Republicans.
MSNBC RINO Nicolle Wallace floated the idea of executive drone strikes against Trump supporters, so calls for unity are ringing hollow.
Now that Donald Trump is no longer present to kick around, Democrats’ temper tantrums should at least be somewhat muted.
