Amy Schumer is one of Hollywood’s most loudmouthed elitists.
The comedian is one of President Trump’s biggest haters and even threatened to move to Spain before the November 2016 General Election. She never left. https://www.americanpatriotdaily.com/latest/this-comedian-will-move-to-spain-if-donald-trump-is-elected/
But what Amy Schumer just said about women and the Me Too Movement was astonishingly hypocritical.
Amy Schumer was one of the most sought after female comedians in the country.

Then she wanted to be a movie star.
That didn’t work out so well for her.
Her first role in Trainwreck was a box-office success.
But Snatched, I Feel Pretty and Thank You for Your Service all bombed hard. https://offthewire.com/amy-schumer-blames-sinking-career-on-this-hilarious-reason/
Now she’s in the news again with her comments on the Me Too Movement where she criticizes men who have never been accused.
She began with, “Any dude saying ‘I’m scared to be in a room with a woman now’ or ‘is it ok to say hello? I don’t know the new rules,’ STOP.”
Who are these men that behave like that?
Are there specific people that she’s referring to?
Otherwise, all Schumer does here is just generalize all men in the same way that all women would hate that, right?

Schumer concludes with “If you’re confused about the new rules. Just ask and don’t make it a joke. Because that’s harmful and we don’t want to hear that kind of joke right now. Mmmmmkay?”
Again, this is a specific comment about a particular person.
What’s worse too is that Amy Schumer should be the last person in the world who should say anything like this.
Back in 2014, Amy Schumer told a story where she probably inadvertently admitted to raping a guy in college.
Schumer spoke at the Ms. Foundation for Women’s Gloria Awards and Gala when she admitted to the heinous act.
A guy named Matt invited Amy over to his dorm room at 8am and recognized that he had been up all night drinking.
She said, “Finally, the door opens. It’s Matt, but not really. He’s there, but not really. His face is kind of distorted, and his eyes seem like he can’t focus on me. He’s actually trying to see me from the side, like a shark.”
He’s completely drunk. That’s obvious.
The rest of the details she describes are really graphic.
But he engaged and she invited it.
They had sex and he fell asleep multiple times in the middle of it.
Keep in mind that it’s 8am and Schumer is sober when all of this happened.
There brings up a question.
Is drunken consent true consent?
That varies state-by-state and case-by-case.
Most states have laws that partially address the issue.
For instance, North Dakota law punishes those that do what Schumer did.

However, Schumer went to Towson University.
In Maryland it says, “if the victim is a mentally defective individual, a mentally incapacitated individual, or a physically helpless individual, and the person performing the act knows or reasonably should know that the victim is a mentally defective individual, a mentally incapacitated individual, or a physically helpless individual.”
That’s vague but it would be hard to argue that it wasn’t rape. She knew his state and proceeded anyway.
And they have a strict conduct code about exactly that.
In their conduct policy it says, “In order to give effective Consent, one must not be mentally or physical incapacitated (e.g., by alcohol or drugs, unconsciousness, mental disability).”
That’s crystal clear.
And she has the audacity to say anything about the Me Too Movement?
She isn’t a “role model” and her comment was ridiculous.
