Cancel culture is getting worse in America.
Anyone who doesn’t toe the progressive line is waiting to be put on the chopping block.
And all hell broke loose when “Star Wars” fired this pro-Trump actress.
Leftists love to pretend that cancel culture doesn’t exist.
They roll their eyes when conservatives and sane liberals speak out against censorship and outrage mobs attempt to get people fired.
But public figures—and some private ones—continue to get canceled.
And actress Gina Carano, co-star of Disney’s “The Mandalorian,” lost her battle with the woke pitchfork mob.
The drama first started when far-left fans hectored Carano for not having gender pronouns listed in her Twitter bio.
She finally responded:
“After months of harassing me in every way. I decided to put 3 VERY controversial words in my bio…beep/bop/boop…I’m not against trans lives at all. They need to find less abusive representation.”
The transgender lobby has beome increasingly hostile; progressive author JK Rowling gets constantly hounded for holding to a traditional stance on biological sex differences.
Carano’s insolence put her in the crosshairs of the rabid left.
The next strike against her came when she insisted that there were integrity issues with the 2020 election.
The straw that broke the camel’s back came when Carano made a benign social media post about political division in the country:
“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”
A spokesperson for Lucasfilm responded:
“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future…Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
This is asinine.
Carano did not denigrate anyone in her post; she simply called out cancel culture, and her termination proves that she was correct.
Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal, star of the show, made a Nazi Germany comparison of his own that obviously did not draw the ire of Disney because he’s on the political left.

The truth of the matter is woke higher-ups at Disney had been itching to fire her for months, per The Hollywood Reporter.
The left becomes increasingly Stalinist as they identify the target, then search for the crime.
Cancel culture will continue to fester until enough people stand up and say enough is enough.
Fans have already called for boycotts of Disney+, but the damage to the culture has already been done.
