Alec Baldwin hates Donald Trump.
He rehabbed his career by lampooning Trump on Saturday Night Live.
But Baldwin has problems of his own after one embarrassing incident.
Trump Derangement Syndrome
The 2016 election broke liberals.
Their fragile minds couldn’t handle a repudiation of their candidate.
America was so sick of the Clintons’ lies and corruption, they elected a total outsider.
Enter Donald Trump.
And the left can’t stand it.
They’re psychologically unwell.
Doctors even began recognizing Trump-related PTSD.
It truly is a sight to behold.
One way they cope with the Trump anxiety is to mock him.
Leftists in Hollywood and the media spend every waking hour attacking Trump.
One study showed that 92% of network news coverage of Trump was negative.
Late-nite comedy shows gave up on trying to be funny.
Instead they just rip Trump and conservatives, then slap on canned audience applause.
Saturday Night Live was one of the worst offenders.
After Trump’s election, SNL cast members issued a tear-filled lamentation to the crowd at the end of the episode.
Alec Baldwin became the Trump avatar on SNL.
His portrayal of the president put his name back in the public eye.
Despite a successful career, Baldwin’s star was falling.
Trump gave him a boost.
Baldwin secured his own talk show on ABC.
But he ruined it.
Baldwin Buried
Alec Baldwin made a series of blunders that damaged his career.
He had multiple run-ins with the law.
He made controversial homophobic comments more than once.
Baldwin left a vile message on his daugher’s voimail, and the message leaked.
Most recently, Baldwin got in a fight over a parking space.
The arrest facilitated ABC to move Baldwin’s show to the television graveyard: Saturday night.
That means Baldwin’s show will die a quick death.
To add insult to injury, Baldwin’s talk show was already in deep trouble.
The show received abysmal ratings and continued to trend down.
The Expendables
Baldwin’s plaudits for attacking Trump might’ve led him to believe he was more popular than he actually was.
The truth is he was a problematic liberal.
He exhibited boorish behavior in the past.
And said things leftists don’t like.
He also spoke out against the #MeToo movement.
But the Trump bump hid his shaky in-crowd status.
Baldwin even deluded himself into believing he would defeat Trump in 2020.
His terrible ratings proved he wasn’t that popular.
The same thing happened to another Trump enemy: Megyn Kelly.
She gained “respect” from liberals for her opposition to Trump in a presidential debate.
But her conservative audience didn’t follow her to NBC.
Then NBC fired Kelly after her benign comments about Halloween costumes.
Baldwin and Kelly should know that the left only tolerates people who get out of step.
Once they’re no longer useful, they’re gone.
Perhaps Baldwin and Kelly can team up for a show.
It could consist of celebrities and hardcore leftists who let Trump live rent-free in their heads.
Rosie O’Donnell could round out the panel.
