Twitter has been used as a left-wing censorship vehicle for years.
But Elon Musk has changed the game by purchasing the company.
And one actor who supported Donald Trump called out the sinister thing Musk just exposed.
Actor James Woods is one of the few people in Hollywood that is openly conservative.
He supported Donald Trump, and has routinely demolished Democratic politicians and generalized left-wing stupidity.
And since the announcement that Elon Musk would be purchasing Twitter and taking the company private, Woods noticed that he immediately saw an uptick in followers and engagement.
Woods tweeted:
At the end of two days of #TwitterFreedom I’ve added 73,000 new followers.
I don’t think anybody has fully grasped the devastating impact the pre-election suppression of free speech has had on our nation. #ThankYouElonMusk

Woods is certainly correct that something is rotten in Denmark.
Many believe that news of Musk’s impending arrival spurred leftists within the company to “burn” the evidence and attempt to hide any algorithmic manipulation that was going on.
It’s obvious that Twitter was censoring content that was damaging to the left; The New York Post was locked out of its account or releasing the bombshell Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” story.
Twitter would not even allow the story to be shared via private direct messages.
What’s less clear is just how much Twitter was messing with the algorithms to favor the Democratic Party.
Woods wasn’t the only person to notice the clear manipulation.
Rapper and actor Ice Cube made a similar comment, tweeting:
Free at last! @elonmusk take off my shadow ban homie…
— Ice Cube (@icecube) April 25, 2022
Shadow-banning is a tactic of suppressing users’ reach without explicitly telling them.
Conservatives have detailed this for years.
Ice Cube is no conservative, but he ran afoul of the establishment when he spoke to the Trump administration about his initiative for the black community.
He was also forced out of one role because he refused to get the COVID vaccine.
Conservative commentator and gun rights advocate Dana Loesch also commented on the mysterious bump in followers and engagement.
Noticing an increase in followers and engagement after losing huge chunks (or static follower count for weeks on end) for the past few years. Also seeing tweets from people I whose accounts I never see and am not having to refollow other conservatives repeatedly.

Musk hasn’t even set foot in Twitter as the sole owner, and his impact is already being felt across the platform.
