Who can you trust in sports realm anymore? It’s as if your sports “heroes” have no idea what they’re talking about, but somehow make their way into the airwaves.
ESPN is firing people by the minute because their subscriptions have declined so drastically. They’ve already fired 100 of their on-air personalities. Sports Illustrated just laid off 5 of their long term employees because of the same obvious liberal bias that most people hate.
The talking head landscape of sports has become a liberal ideological powerhouse and it’s becoming insulting to America’s intelligence.
But you won’t believe what this new liberal coach is about to do for an anti-American quarterback.
Cover32 reports:
“The careers of Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III have been rather short-lived. But there may be new life for one of these two quarterbacks to sign as a backup for Russell Wilson.
Seahawks General Manager John Schneider has been in contact with Kaepernick’s agent recently. It may be possible that the once hated rival of Seattle may be wearing blue.
Referring back to Kaepernick’s history under Jim Harbaugh, Kaepernick has reached the NFC championship two times and a Super Bowl once, with Sherman tipping the winning touchdown to Irvin to send Seattle to a second Super Bowl.
Furthermore, Kaepernick had also accumulated 25 wins to 14 loses in the same timeframe and averaged 12 wins a season.
Harbaugh’s final season blew up, but considering that he still ended the final season at .500. That gives Kaepernick a winning average of .641.
It would be foolish to not consider a player with that type of prestige as a backup. And in reference to the infamous blackout in Super Bowl XLVII, Kaepernick almost brought the team back from behind just to fall short 34 – 31. May be a loss, but experience in the most important position on offense is necessary to win games.”
Why do you think Harbaugh’s season blew up? Perhaps because Kaepernick is difficult to deal with?
If your first thought was to think of the front office of the 49ers and think it might be their fault rather than the quarterback’s, you’re still wrong.
They kept Kaepernick and gladly let Harbaugh go. Then Kaepernick started, then he didn’t, and that pendulum swung for a season and a half.
But now we have a liberal coach in one of the most liberal cities in the world willing to take him on – and in the same division – as if this anti-American flag quarterback will make a difference. The coach of the Seahawks is so liberally stupid that he actually thinks the terrorist attacks of 9/11 was a scam.
USA Today reported back in January 2015:
“Pete Carroll is a conspiracy theorist, at least that is how the conspiracy theory goes. And it is one that has gained the Seattle Seahawks coach an unlikely following from the ‘9/11 Truth’ movement in the lead-up to his attempt to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
Two years ago, Carroll met with former Army chief of staff and four-star general Peter Chiarelli and, according to Deadspin citing ‘sources,’ brought up many popular conspiracy theories concerned with the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, on the World Trade Center and quizzed Chiarelli about their veracity.
When asked by USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday about the ‘9/11 Truth’ movement and supporters who back him, Carroll made no attempt to deny his interest.
‘Any notoriety is good I guess,’ Carroll said, when told by USA TODAY Sports how he had become a favorite among Truth activists. ‘I will always be interested in the truth, yeah.’”
So now you have Pete Carroll who thinks 9/11 was an inside job and former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick who thinks America sucks and hasn’t given him anything.
But maybe these two egos are a match made in heaven – if they can agree on a price. But they probably won’t.
