The list of musicians and actors who have been extremely vocal about their opposition to President Trump over the past several months seems to be endless.
Celebrities just can’t help staying out of the political arena – a realm that most know nothing about – and accuse Trump’s supporters as racists, bigots, uneducated, or a “basket of deplorables.”
But they live in a wealthy bubble and are completely oblivious to the needs of blue-collar Americans.
And now, a legendary musician has really crossed the line by emasculating President Trump at one of his most recent shows.
Breitbart reports:
“Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters is using his newest tour to blast President Donald Trump, with slogans like “F*ck Trump” and images of a naked Trump wearing a Ku Klux Klan hood appearing behind the bassist on stage.
During rehearsal of his new tour, Waters used his song ‘Pigs (Three Different Ones)’ to slam Trump, as Rolling Stone reported.
As Waters performed, images of Trump depicting him without pants, with an exposed penis, women’s breasts, lipstick, a KKK hood, his head leveled on a pig and the word “charade” written across his face were displayed.
Waters’s performance included direct quotes from Trump on his proposed border wall, which read ‘A nation without borders is not a nation at all. We must have a wall’ and ‘The wall will go up and Mexico will start behaving.’
Another quote even dragged Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump into the show, with a quote from Trump where he joked ‘If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I would be dating her.’
The performance ended with the words ‘F*CK TRUMP’ stretched across the big screen.
During an earlier interview with Rolling Stone, Waters confirmed that he would be using his “Us + Them” tour to attack Trump.
‘We have to organize our love in such a way that it becomes a potent and powerful enough tour to resist their narcissism and their greed and their callous disregard for the feelings of others and their absolute lack of the ability to empathize with anybody,’ Waters said at the time.
‘It’s a lack of empathy that creates a true sociopath like Donald Trump.’”
And although Waters has been extremely vocal in his opposition towards President Trump, his level of disdain and disrespect was taken wildly too far.
You can watch the highly profane video and the crowd laughing along with the song here if you choose.
But the interview with Rolling Stone wasn’t the only journalism outlet where he expressed his anger towards the President.
Entertainment Weekly reported:
“[Interviewer question] The album features a sample of Donald Trump speaking and, from a lyrical point of view, generally feels like a very Trump-era collection of songs.
[Waters] ‘Well, unfortunately, it’s a very Trump era. It’s not just Trump. It’s all over, everywhere.
It’s Brexit and Le Pen. It’s, ‘Let’s all lie about Syria, whoever we are.’ ‘Let’s just make up any narrative that we want and say it’s true.” It’s like truth is now a completely alien concept. It’s not what is — it’s what you believe, or what you can persuade people.’”
And Waters is about to pound the pavement with his new summer tour – so he’s going to be perpetuating this all around the country.
Probably every single one of his shows will be filled with liberals, so you’ve been warned.
