With football season around the corner, Colin Kaepernick and his national anthem protests are once again dominating the conversation.
The former NFL quarterback has clearly inspired other players to follow his anti-America lead, turning off football fans across America.
But rock star Kid Rock – and possible Republican Senate candidate – shut Kaepernick down with just three words.
Kaepernick pretended to advocate for social change when he first kneeled for the national anthem.
But did you know that Kaepernick didn’t even vote in November 2016?
Do you see the irony here? He wants to be a role model and a “protector of social progress” but doesn’t even exercise his right to vote—to make that social progress?
He’s telling his empathizers that voting isn’t important, despite wanting change.
And still, several NFL players are copying the former QB’s kneeling, but that will prove to be a huge problem for the NFL very soon because their ratings are about to suffer.
Kid Rock knows this – and his response? “F—k Colin Kaepernick.”
The Daily Caller reports:
“Musician Kid Rock didn’t mince words about his feelings towards Colin Kaepernick during a recent concert.
Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, was performing at the Iowa state fair over the weekend, and dropped a little bit of his opinion during his performance of “Born Free.”
“Football’s about ready to start,” he said. “You know what? F*ck Colin Kaepernick,” Rock told the audience, according to the Des Moines Register.
There isn’t video of the incident yet, but there is video of a similar incident from Kid Rock, who is flirting with a 2018 Senate run, during a concert in Boston from 2016.
I’ve been to a Kid Rock concert, and it’s probably a safe assumption 99 percent of people in attendance are not fans of people like Kaepernick, who chose to disrespect the national anthem.
Rock is also a smart dude, and knows the audience of the flyover states largely agrees with his conservative and libertarian worldview.
I can’t wait to see his potential senate campaign promo involving him trashing Kaepernick being unemployed. It’s going to be pure gold.”
Kid Rock is probably going to run the most anti-PC campaign in Senatorial hopeful history.
He doesn’t care about offending people—and that’s a good thing.
In fact, Kid Rock has echoed this sentiment before in September 2016 when Kaepernick first took a knee.
Fox News reported:
“Kid Rock had three words to say about Colin Kaepernick’s decision to kneel during the National Anthem.
In a new video of his Friday concert at Fenway Park in Boston, the singer stopped in the middle of singing “Born Free” to say “F–k Colin Kaepernick.”
The crowd went wild while Rock continued to perform in front of a giant American flag.
The rocker isn’t the first celebrity to speak out against the San Francisco 49ers quarterback.
Over the weekend, KISS took aim at the football player on their “Freedom to Rock” tour.
“In case you didn’t know this tour is called the ‘Freedom to Rock [tour],” KISS’ Paul Stanley said on stage.
“A lot of times people that are born free think that freedom is free and it’s not. Freedom is only free because there are people willing to sacrifice to keep us free.”
He then announced a $150,000 donation to “Hiring our heroes” which helps veterans find employment.
Before leading the audience to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and a rock version of the “Star Spangled Banner,” Stanley told the crowd, “You should remember, patriotism is always cool.
Loving your country is always cool. Standing up, respecting and honoring our military is always cool.
So, to show some respect between pick-throwing, we’re going to put our right hands over our hearts and why don’t we say the Pledge of Allegiance.”
With players turning their back on the American flag, the NFL is going to be in for a big surprise when the first Nielson ratings come in.
Because America won’t have it anymore.
