Disney is ABC and ESPN’s parent company, and their recent liberal bias has been insultingly obvious.
ESPN just laid off over 100 on-air personalities because of a decline in subscriptions, which was directly linked to Americans becoming annoyed by the network’s overwhelmingly liberal “analysts” who were exploiting the sports-world in any way they could to criticize President Trump’s actions.
Last week was the end of the television show canceling season, and nearly all of the shows were ended because of low ratings, which is understandable.
But ABC just canceled one of the network’s most popular television shows, an openly conservative comedy – and now everybody wants to know why. Well, actually, the reason is completely obvious.

“ABC is facing backlash after the network announced the cancellation of one of its highest-rated shows “Last Man Standing” Friday.
The news came as a shock to fans who favored the conservative-leaning sitcom starring Tim Allen and many questioned if the decision was due to the show’s politics. ABC told Fox News the show was canceled due to scheduling.
Now, a petition to boycott ABC until they agree to bring back ‘Last Man Standing’ has quickly garnered more than 10,000 signatures.
Last Man Standing’ stands out in the sea of network television sitcoms,” the petition states. ‘It is a show that appeals to a broad swath of Americans who find very few shows that extol the virtues with which they can identify; namely conservative values.’
ABC declined to comment on the petition. Allen, the show’s star, has yet to comment on the cancellation and did not return Fox News’ multiple requests for a statement.
According to Deadline, the sitcom was the network’s second-highest comedy this season and averaged 8.1 million viewers, just behind ‘Modern Family,’ which averaged 8.7 million viewers this season and was recently renewed for two more seasons.
It was also ABC’s third highest watched scripted series behind ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Modern Family.’”
Tim Allen is one of the few known conservative-leaning actors in Hollywood, along with Dennis Miller, Jon Voight, Kelsey Grammer and James Woods.
But recent comments Allen made on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!” may have ruffled some feathers over at ABC and the liberal executives might’ve found those comments the last straw.
In reference to being a conservative in Hollywood, Allen said:
“You gotta be real careful around here, you know. You’ll get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes.
This is like 30s Germany. I don’t know what happened. If you’re not part of the group: ‘You know what we believe is right’, I go ‘Well, I might have a problem with that.'”
Allen also criticized government surveillance in the same interview.
Fox News Insider reported:
“Allen also told Kimmel he attended President Trump’s inauguration in Washington, and attended a veterans’ ball at the time.
He also discussed his concerns about privacy from government surveillance.
‘If a government drove by down the street with like a gray sedan with a camera on it, you’d be rioting and going to Washington. But if it’s white with emojis and Google on it, ‘yay’, you’re waving at it [while] they’re taking pictures of your house.’”
If you fully dissect ABC’s decision to cancel the network’s 3rd most popular show – and an undeniable moneymaking machine – you can literally reach no other conclusions than Allen’s conservative values, which happened to be reflected in the show.
But there might be a silver lining. Since ABC bought the rights to “American Idol” from Fox, maybe Fox will transversely do the same thing for “Last Man Standing”.
