Are you tired of Hollywood liberals getting special treatment like the law doesn’t apply to them? Why is it only conservatives who are treated unfairly?
Conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza was convicted of violating a campaign finance law, and about six weeks ago, Rosie O’Donnell was exposed for allegedly committing the exact same crime, and yet, no charges have been filed against the failed TV host and comedian. That should tell you all you need to know about the anti-conservative bias that’s running rampant through America.
And now disgraced super producer, Harvey Weinstein, was just allowed this disgusting privilege that a conservative would only dream of.
Harvey Weinstein was the first to fall in the #MeToo movement. Hollywood kicked him to the curb, but only after he was exposed as a sexual deviant and rapist.
He would probably still be making movies right now if the #MeToo movement hadn’t started, because everyone knows that all of the major Hollywood players were fully aware of Weinstein’s actions. And they did nothing about it.
Weinstein was first charged with felony rape and released on a ten million dollar bail (he only paid one million because it’s 10% of the total bail), but things have gotten a lot worse for the former filmmaker in the last couple of weeks.
Harvey Weinstein was indicted on more charges involving sexual assault allegations from two different women.
And on Monday, Weinstein was charged yet again for some of the most serious sexual offenses that exist under the law.
And guess what.
Weinstein received bail again.
The new charges include two counts of predatory sexual assault, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison upon conviction.
Representing the third woman, attorney Gloria Allred, is claiming that her client will testify if the case goes to trial.
And she also expressed doubts that Weinstein’s lawyer would allow him to do the same because it would subject him to cross-examination by prosecutors.
But before we go down the road of arguing the “innocent until proven guilty” rhetoric – he does maintain his innocence on all these charges – who gets this kind of favorable treatment after such heinous allegations?
How in the world does he keep receiving bail after the slew of charges against him?
Is it because he has an “in” with these judges and prosecutors? Is it because he was one of the most powerful liberals in Hollywood for a long time?
Is it simply favoritism?
More than 75 women have accused the Academy Award winner and now he’s finally being charged with a small portion of the allegations. If he keeps getting charged, and it’s likely that will keep happening, will his bail be revoked again?
If it were any conservative, he’d be in jail right now waiting for his trial to start.
Just look at what happened with Paul Manafort on only one charge. His bail was revoked because Robert Mueller’s team alleged he was tampering with witnesses.
But Harvey Weinstein has decades-old accusations about violating women in some of the worst ways imaginable.
One is in jail and the other isn’t.
Do you think this is fair?
