Hollywood wouldn’t be Hollywood without its loudmouth champagne socialists.
Millionaires flock to award shows in limousines, wearing clothes that cost a year’s worth of mortgage payments, then lecture the rest of America about corporate greed and morality.
But as far as Hollywood hypocrisy goes, one actress took home the top prize in stunning fashion.
Left-wing actress Alyssa Milano began her career as a child, and hasn’t stopped working since. Perhaps her lack of perspective could be somewhat excused by being rich and famous for nearly 40 years, but a spade is a spade.
Milano is a staunch gun control advocate who recently sponsored an anti-NRA rally…that was protected by armed security guards.
From The Daily Wire:
A member of the National Rifle Association visited Alyssa Milano’s anti-gun rally being held just outside the NRA’s national convention in Texas, and ended up in a bizarre confrontation.
After jokingly asking her bodyguards whether they were armed — it turns out, ironically, that they were — suddenly one bodyguard turned angry and forced the man back to the sidewalk, even though the man was on public property and was not there to counter-protest.
Ben Howe captured the incident on video:

This is Will Haraway a CCW @nra member. He asked @Alyssa_Milano’s security if he was armed (he was) and then asked Alyssa about it. Here’s what happened. (She comes to talk to him after this and I will post that longer video shortly). https://t.co/qMsq6rbzDd
According to Howe, the security guard did not have the authority to evict the man from the protest, as basic permits don’t give the protesting organization “total ownership” over public property, even during the scheduled time of protest.

FTR, per Section 42 of Dallas City Code, this security guard had no authority to force Will to leave even if @Alyssa_Milano’s organizations had a protest permit as Will did not represent a group or counter-protest. Permits do not give orgs total ownership of public space. https://t.co/vL3osTQS5P
To her credit, Howe says that Alyssa Milano did stop to talk to the man as she was leaving her speech, and although the full video of that interaction hasn’t surfaced, Howe did not speak ill of her attitude during the conversation. He did note later on Twitter that Milano now denies her security was armed at an anti-gun rally.
Milano dug herself a deeper hole when she said that the security personnel weren’t the target of her wrath because they were trained and passed a background check, which sounds precisely like the law-abiding members of the group she’s railing against.
Milano also admitted her husband owns two guns.
From Yahoo!:
The clip showed her walking up to the the men as they repeatedly asked the security guard whether he was armed. Milano told them that she has “no problem with NRA members that lawfully have guns. I have zero problem with that. Actually, in my household, my husband has two guns, so don’t call me a hypocrite.”

This was event security, not my bodyguard. But regardless, this security guy has had training and passed a background check. These are the common sense gun reform policies we are fighting for for everyone. Can’t wait to see the unedited longer video. https://t.co/tHREzjnsZH
Perhaps someone should alert Milano that the “common sense” gun laws she’s pushing for are already in place.
