Amidst sexual assault accusations, Harvey Weinstein has been officially fired from the Weinstein Company.
Many actresses have accused Weinstein of gross sexual behavior including Ashley Judd, Angelina Jolie, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
And back in 2000, Weinstein did something for Hillary Clinton that will leave you speechless.
Harvey Weinstein has been a known supporter and big donor of Democrats like former President Barack Obama and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
His bias was obvious—he even threw Hillary Clinton a birthday party 17 years ago.
Back in October 2000, Entertainment Weekly had reported:
“We thought Kate Hudson was Miramax’s new It Girl, but it seems she’s been bumped by a more serious type: Hillary Clinton.
EW.com has learned that Miramax cochief Harvey Weinstein will throw a 53rd birthday bash and fundraiser for the New York senatorial candidate on Oct. 25 (her birthday is Oct. 26).
The event — featuring a performance by Cher — will take place at Manhattan’s Roseland Ballroom.
Weinstein is known to be a strong financial supporter of the Clintons. In August he hosted a party for Hillary on Martha’s Vineyard, featuring performances by Carly Simon and Jimmy Buffet.
And Weinstein also produced a star studded fundraiser for Al Gore and Joe Lieberman at Radio City Music Hall Sept. 14 that raised $6.5 million for the Democratic National Committee.”
At that same party, Harvey Weinstein also attacked actor Nathan Lane.
Page Six reports:
“Actor Nathan Lane says embattled movie exec Harvey Weinstein attacked him during a birthday party for Hillary Clinton 17 years ago.
Weinstein, a notorious Democratic booster who was recently accused of sexually harassing several actresses and assistants over the past three decades, threw the fete for Clinton’s 53rd birthday in 2000 — but he also tossed emcee Lane against a wall for a joke the actor made onstage about Rudy Giuliani’s comb-over, the Broadway and film star said.
“This is my f–king show, we don’t need you,” Weinstein reportedly raged at Lane.
But the self-deprecating comedian — known for big-screen roles in “The Lion King,” “The Producers” and “The Birdcage” — had a retort locked and loaded.
‘You can’t hurt me, I don’t have a film career,’ Lane quipped back at Weinstein, the actor recalled during an interview at the New Yorker Festival on Saturday night.”
Gwyneth Paltrow had told then-boyfriend Brad Pitt about Harvey’s disgusting behavior and allegedly Pitt confronted him.
Obviously there were never any repercussions because he continued his gross sexual deviances.
Everyone remained silent about Harvey Weinstein’s behavior because of his power and his generous donations to the liberal establishment.
In fact, he was even protected. Actors Matt Damon and Russell Crowe helped bury a 2004 New York Times story that would’ve buried him.
The point here is that everybody knew and nobody did anything about it.
If this doesn’t prove once and for all that the Hollywood elites are all hypocrites, I don’t know what will.
