Actors far and wide find much enjoyment in chiming in on all things political.
The Hollywood elites feel their opinions represent the moral authority on everything.
And another A-list actor has joined the long list of anti-Trump rhetoric.
Christian Bale has been a successful actor since the 80’s, notably winning an Academy Award for Supporting Actor in The Fighter, and of course, playing the titular role of Batman in the Dark Knight trilogy.
Although he’s played an American in most of his films, Bale is a Brit who was born in the United Kingdom.
And while one would think that outsiders would refrain from commenting on American politics, many do quite frequently, and Bale is no exception.
He recently made headlines when he vocalized his disdain for Donald Trump and his administration.
Fox News reports:
“Christian Bale ripped President Trump’s effect on America, saying he is “shocked” at what it has become.
Bale, who hails from the United Kingdom, played Batman in Christopher Nolan’s installments of the film series.
The actor said he “adores” America as his adopted country and is ashamed of what it has become.
Bale said America now “seeth[es] with hatred and division” and that Trump has negatively affected citizens’ attitude toward “people of different opinions” and immigrants.
“Hopefully we’ll come through this for something far better,” Bale said, projecting that the “majority” of the country agrees with him.
Pete Hegseth said on “Fox & Friends” that Bale doesn’t speak for people in his home state of Minnesota.
“Why does he think his voice is amplified?” Hegseth asked.”

David Wohl duly noted the irony in Bale’s ridiculous comments:
Chrissy Bale lives in America because his homeland, jolly old England, has been ruined by liberals. But he’s telling us President Trump is no good. #STFUhttps://t.co/rd1w3F9AWk

But remember Bale’s famous blow-up on the set of Terminator: Salvation where he angrily berated a below-the-line worker and it went viral?
So maybe he isn’t someone who should be talking about hatred and division.
